After installing the Chrome extension, open your IDE and follow the setup instructions on the home page. For Claude Code, run
claude mcp add pincushion-mcp. For Cursor and VS Code, the pincushion extension auto-configures it for you.
Make sure your project URL is registered via
configure_project in the MCP server, or that the extension is activated on that tab. Click the Pincushion toolbar icon to check its status. If you're on a Chrome extension page or the Chrome Web Store, the extension cannot run there by design.
Yes — stakeholders who drop pins are always free. They install the Chrome extension, enter their email, and can start pinning immediately. No account setup or payment required.
Pro is for individual developers — unlimited projects and real-time sync at $19/month. Team adds 3 developer seats and priority support at $49/month. Additional seats can be added for $12/month each. Stakeholders are always free on all plans.
Email support@pincushion.io with your account email and we'll cancel immediately. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial months.
First, confirm the MCP server is running by calling
get_feedback_summary in your agent. If it returns an error, check that SUPABASE_URL and SUPABASE_ANON_KEY are set in your environment. See the setup guide on the home page for your specific IDE.
Pins are stored in Supabase with row-level security — only you and your team members can access your project's data. Screenshots are stored ephemerally and are not shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
