Where to go

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect my coding agent?
In your repo, run npx pincushion-mcp setup. It signs you in, registers your project URLs, and asks you to choose an editor. Then restart that editor and ask the agent to call get_actionable_pins. The MCP guide has manual configs for each editor.
Do reviewers need to install anything or pay?
No. Reviewers are always free. Anyone with a public report link can view it, and on projects open to feedback they can add pins and replies after entering a name and email. Reviewers who want to pin any webpage can add the optional Chrome extension.
The extension isn't showing pins on my site. What's wrong?
Make sure the site's URL is registered to your project (setup does this, or call configure_project). The extension picks up newly registered URLs within about 30 seconds. It can't run on Chrome extension pages or the Chrome Web Store.
My agent isn't seeing the pins. How do I debug it?
Restart the editor you chose during setup, then ask the agent to call get_actionable_pins. A config file alone doesn't prove the agent is connected. If the call errors, re-run npx pincushion-mcp setup from the repo and pick the same editor.
What's the difference between Pro and Team?
Pro is $19/month for one developer, with unlimited projects, unlimited AI actions, and Realtime sync. Team is $49/month with 3 developer seats, white-label reports, and priority support. Extra seats are $12/month each. Reviewers are free on every plan. See pricing for the full comparison.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Email support@pincushion.io from your account email and we'll cancel right away. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't refund partial months.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Pins and screenshots are stored in Pincushion's backend with row-level security, so only your project's members can access them unless you share a report link. Workspace critiques run through your connected agent and its model provider; hosted Crit sends selected rendered-page evidence to OpenAI for analysis. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
