pincushion

Staging review for freelancers, one link instead of five threads.

As a freelancer you are the designer, developer and project manager. Staging review shouldn't add a fourth job reading feedback scattered over email, chat and phone calls. With Pincushion the client opens your staging site and points at what they mean.

A review round in five steps

  1. Register staging. Sign up free, create a project and register your staging URL. If the site is behind a preview deploy, register that URL.
  2. Send an invite link. Create an invite link for commenters and send it to your client. They enter a name and email to join. They don't pay and you don't spend a seat on them.
  3. The client reviews on staging. They click elements and write notes. Each pin carries the page, the element, a screenshot and the viewport, so you can tell a mobile issue from a desktop one.
  4. Reply and approve. Answer questions on the pin. Approve the changes you agreed to do.
  5. Fix and report back. Work through the list, or let your coding agent do it over MCP. When you're done, send a read-only share report link so the client can see which pins are resolved and which PR or deploy closed them. No account is needed to view it.
